treatment of infections caused by nematodes, fasciola hepatica and ectoparasites such as mites, which causes scabies, blood sucking lice and larvae fly. |
| dosage y administration |
to be administered by intramuscular route in cattle. in sheep, goats and camelids can be administered by intramuscular or subcutaneous route. as general rule the dose is: 12mg triclabendazole/Kg b. w. and 200ug ivermectin/Kg b. w., equivalent to 1mL/30Kg in cattle, sheep, goats and camelids. if more than 10mL must be administered, the dosage has to be applied at different points of application. the treatment should be administered every 8-10 weeks during the high infestation times or at high incidence zones of fasciola hepatica. in acute and sub acute cases, the treatment is recommended every 5-6 weeks. |
