Quick action general anesthetic indicated for short duration anesthesia. It eliminates consciousness and sensibility to pain, keeping palpebral, laryngeal, pharyngeal and visceral reflexes (dissociative anesthesia). Short surgical procedures not requiring skeletic muscle relaxation, and in some diagnosis. It can be used in major surgery in combination with athropine and xilazine (it originates neuroleptoanalgesia) or other inductors, or as inductor to administration of other general anesthetics. |

Intramuscular and endovenous routes. Canines: 5-15 mg/kg of body weight. Felines: 15-20 mg/kg of body weight. When used by endovenous route, it is recommended to diminish the dose 30 to 40%, according to age and physical condition of the animal.
