to be administered by intramuscular route. in dogs the intramuscular and subcutaneous route are recommended. in cattle, sheep, goats, horses, camelids and pigs: the recommended dose is 8000 iu of procaine benzyl penicillin and 10 mg of dihydrostreptomycin (as sulfate) per kg of body weight, equivalent to 1 ml per 25 kg of body weight for 3 to 5 days, by intramuscular route. in dogs and cats the recommended dose is 20 000 iu of procaine benzyl penicillin and 25 mg of dihydrostreptomycin (as sulfate) per kg of body weight, equivalent to 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight for 3 to 5 days, by intramuscular route. do not administer more than 20 ml in cattle, more than 10 ml in horses and pigs and more than 5 ml in calves, sheep and goats by one injection site. |
