Analeptic cardio-respiratory stimulant

formula

Heptaminol HCl 10 g, diprophylline (dyphylline) 10 g; excipients q.s. ad 100 mL.

indications

Cardio-respiratory analeptic. It stimulates and restores the normal activity of cardiocirculatory and respiratory functions by acting simultaneously upon heart, blood vessels and respiration.

dosage y administration

It can be used by intravenous, intramuscular or intraperitoneal routes, at a rate of 1 mL for each 10 Kg of body weight. The treatment can be repeated if necessary every 4-5 hours, and maintained until 4 to 5 days.
