It is indicated as a local anesthetic. It is recommended for clinic applications, such as: local anesthesia by infiltration (epidural or paravertebral) in cesareans, tail cuts, spay or neuter surgeries, and other interventions in the genital area; examinations and diagnostic of limps in horses. It is also used in cases of conductive anesthesia, nervous blockade (such as the ones of the intercostals, mandible nerves and brachial plex) and subarachnoid anesthesia; intra- articular infiltration; to control clinic pain, local anesthesia for diagnosis and exploratory purposes. Target species: Horses, bovines, swine, camelids, sheep, goats, dogs, cats.

Local anesthesia: it is recommended a dose of 3 mg/kg b.w., equivalent to 0, 15 mL/kg b.w.
Epidural anesthesia:
•Dogs and cats: 1 mL/4, 5 kg, it blocks until L1. 1 mL/3, 4 kg, it blocks until T5.
•Swine: 1 mL each 40 cm of column, then add 1, 5 mL per each 10 cm of additional column.
•Sheep, goats and camelids: Between 8 and 12 mL, depending of the size of the animal and the area which is going to be insensitive.
•Bovines:
?Subsequent anesthesia: 4 mL.
?Previous anesthesia: When it is indispensable the animal decubitus by its route, 60 mL should be used.
•Horses: Apply from 10 to 20 mL, 2 to 4 mL each 100 kg b.w. approximately. Above this dose, it should be waited the decubitus of the animal by previous blockade.
Nervous or conduction blockade:
?Diagnosis injections in horses and cows: 5-10 mL.
?Horn nerve anesthesia in cows: 8-10 mL in each side.
Infiltration anesthesia:
?For example, sectio cesarean (animal standing): 100 mL maximum.
Sacral anesthesia:
For surgery with animals standing:
?Horses: 5-10 mL (slow administration).
?Cows: 4-6 mL (slow administration)
?Sheep: 2-3 mL (slow administration).
