formula

amoxicillin (as trihydrate) 15g, excipients q.a.s.d 100ml

indications

vetamoxyl® l.a. is an injectable suspension on amoxicillin basis effective against sensitive to penicillin gram + and gram – bacteria. it is recommended for the treatment of enteritis (caused by e. coli, salmonella spp., clostridium spp.), infections produced by streptoccocus spp., such as arthritis and meningitis, ear necrosis, urinary infections (nephritis, urethritis, cystitis), respiratory diseases (pneumonia, bronchitis), systemic infections and is also recommended to prevent secondary bacterial infections in cattle, equines, sheep, goats, camelids, swine, dogs and cats.

dosage y administration

to be administered by intramuscular or subcutaneous route. the recommended dosage for all species is 15 mg/kg of b. w., equivalent to 1 mL every 10 kg of body weight. if is necessary, repeat the dosage after 48 hours. do not administer, at one application site, more than 20ml in bovine, more than 10 mL in equine, swine and no more than 5 ml in calves, sheep and goats per application site.
