Prevention and treatment of infections caused by microorganisms that are sensitive to difloxacine. Basically, in digestive tract, genitourinary tract, respiratory tract, auditive tube and skin, among many other; respiratory bovine disease, colibacilosis, salmonellosis, pneumonia, broncho-pneumonia, micoplasmosis, dermatitis, mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome and rhinitis. |

By subcutaneous route (intramuscular only in pigs). Bovines, caprines, ovines, camelids, pigs: 2.5 mg difloxacine/kg/day (that is, 1 mL/40 kg) for 3 to 5 days. For complicated diseases, the dose can be doubled to 5 mg/kg/day. Dogs: 5 mg difloxacine/kg/day (that is 1 mL/20 kg) in one single subcutaneous injection. Chicken and roosters: 10 mg/kg body weight. |
