formula

ivermectin 1 g, oleous excipients and formulation agents q.s. ad 100 mL.

indications

treatment and control of internal parasitosis (gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes), mange and ticks (and other ectoparasites). its spectrum includes: haemonchus spp., ostertagia spp., trichostrongylus spp, cooperia spp., oesophagostomum spp., dyctiocaulus viviparus, dermatobia hominis, psoroptes bovis, boophilus microplus, among many other internal and external parasites. its oleous carrier confers to bovimec® l.a. a slow and prolonged liberation, extending its action up to 42 days.

dosage y administration

subcutaneous or intramuscular injectable routes. the dose is 200 micrograms/kg of weight, which in practice is equivalent to 1 ml/50 kg body weight. in porcines, the dose is 1 ml/33 kg body weight.
