Hermosillo, Sonora (Mexico). As part of the 8th International Conference on Cattle Production and Reproduction, held on October 1 and 2 in Hermosillo, Agrovet Market reaffirmed its commitment to livestock health in the region by training more than 400 producers and veterinary zootechnicians (MVZ).
During the event, MVZ Gerardo Escobedo, Technical Director of Agrovet Market, delivered a presentation titled “The Important Role of the MVZ in Addressing the Threat of the Borer Worm in a Disease-Free Zone.” The presentation covered surveillance protocols, key procedures for immediate action, and the critical role of veterinary professionals in safeguarding the health status of Mexico’s livestock industry.
“The presence of the borer worm poses a critical challenge to the sector’s productivity. Our goal at this forum was to provide professionals with tools for timely diagnosis and effective solutions to protect livestock herds,” noted Veterinarian Gerardo Escobedo. He also highlighted the availability of products designed to improve livestock production, such as Modivitasa Organic Modifier—which stimulates organic functions—and Fertimin Se, a mineral supplement that aids in treating metabolic and reproductive disorders.
In addition to the 14 technical presentations on the program, Agrovet Market showcased in its exhibition space a portfolio of comprehensive solutions designed to optimize reproduction and production rates in the cattle industry.
By participating in this international forum, Agrovet Market is establishing itself as a strategic partner for Mexico’s livestock sector, promoting technical expertise and cutting-edge animal health practices.
