ATREVIA® and PETMEDICA® Host International Delegation at LAVC 2026
Posted on 03/06/2026
From May 18 to 21, 2026, Petmedica®—the specialized companion animal line of Agrovet Market®—together with ATREVIA®, hosted a delegation of clients from Nicaragua during the Latin American Veterinary Conference (LAVC 2026). During this gathering, various joint activities were conducted with the delegation, designed to strengthen business ties and foster deeper development within the sector. Attendees had the opportunity to receive training, update their knowledge, and discover the latest trends and innovations in the animal health sector.
Petmedica® made a strong impression with its presence across multiple commercial booths: Petmedica®, Atrevia®, and its most recent launch, Suralan® Quattro®. The Atrevia® booth captured the attendees' attention by focusing on its advertising campaign, "El Amor Cuida" (Love Cares), which features the renowned artist Chayanne as its official brand ambassador. This campaign—designed to connect with the sector in a personal and dynamic way—already has a presence in eight countries, including Nicaragua; consequently, the Nicaraguan delegation showed great enthusiasm upon witnessing firsthand the impressive impact and scale of the campaign's rollout in Peru.
Additionally, an exclusive space was designated for a meeting focused on the brand's new product launches and innovations. In this setting, Suralan® Quattro® was officially unveiled—a product indicated for the treatment of dogs with mixed parasitic infections caused by endoparasites and ectoparasites, specifically when simultaneous action is required against fleas, ticks, mites, nematodes (including gastrointestinal, pulmonary, ocular, and heartworms), and cestodes (tapeworms), while also preventing dirofilariasis and angiostrongylosis. The presentation was led by Dr. Lucero Cusi-Ccoyllur Flores, the company's Head of Small Animal Research and Pharmacovigilance, who provided detailed technical training on the products, explaining the formulation, benefits, and advanced technology behind this new solution. Thus, thanks to their attendance at the event and active participation in the talks, the Nicaraguan veterinary professionals present were able to gain firsthand insight into the efficacy and scientific backing that characterize the Petmedica® line.
The trust placed in these brands by clients across the region serves as a testament to their commitment to the sector. Petmedica® and Atrevia® extend their deepest gratitude to the Nicaraguan delegation for their visit, as well as to the event organizers for creating spaces of such vital importance for the professional development and continuing education of the veterinary community.
