August 2026 – The Hilton Hotel in San Salvador hosted the 15th anniversary of the León Veterinary Congress (CVDL) El Salvador 2026. This gathering brought together approximately 700 veterinarians from the region, who participated in professional development sessions, lectures, and activities focused on companion animal medicine.
Petmedica®—the companion animal division of Agrovet Market®—participated alongside its brand, Atrevia®, as one of the event’s primary sponsors. In partnership with Monteco Animal Health, its exclusive distributor in El Salvador, Petmedica® was present in the exhibition area, where it showcased its portfolio of antiparasitic solutions for pet care and well-being to attending veterinarians and industry professionals.
As part of the congress program, Dr. Krissia Uceda, General Manager of Monteco Animal Health, delivered a presentation titled "How to Ethically Add Value to Pet Care Without 'Selling'?"—a session centered on the importance of creating value within veterinary practice and strengthening relationships with pet owners. Additionally, Atrevia® featured an activation for its international campaign, "Love Cares" ("El Amor Cuida"), which stars the renowned singer Chayanne. This initiative conveys that caring for a pet is an expression of love, demonstrated through the prevention and protection of their health. With the tagline "Recommended by veterinarians, approved by Chayanne," the campaign combines professional endorsement with a message that resonates personally with pet owners.
Furthermore, Petmedica® supported the recognition of distinguished professionals in the country by sponsoring awards presented during the congress, underscoring its commitment to the Salvadoran veterinary community.
Through this participation, Petmedica® reaffirms its dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions for animal health and supporting the advancement of veterinary medicine across Latin America. The company expresses its gratitude to the organizers of CVDL 2026 for creating high-level platforms that foster professional development, innovation, and growth in the region.
