Atrevia®: The Irresistible Protection Against Fleas, Ticks, And Mites Arrives In Colombia

August 2025 – Petmedica®, in partnership with its exclusive distributor Punto Fertil S.A.S, announces the arrival of Atrevia® in Colombia. This ectoparasiticide is formulated with fluralaner, a next-generation molecule from the isoxazoline family that effectively eliminates fleas, ticks, and mites. The product is available in two versions: Atrevia® One for monthly administration and Atrevia® XR for quarterly administration. Its presentations vary according to the dog's weight: mini, small, medium, and large.

Atrevia® is the first product in the SUPER CHEWS™ line, a highly palatable soft chew that achieved a 98% voluntary acceptance rate in dogs participating in studies. This feature removes the difficulty of administration, turning protection into a pleasant moment for the pet.

The official launch of Atrevia® took place during the Congreso Veterinario de Colombia (CVDC) and brought together over 150 attendees, including veterinarians, distributors, and clinic owners. During the presentation, Dr. Luis Chavez, Technical Commercial Manager in Petmedica, shared the results of field studies that demonstrated the product's efficacy, safety, and rapid action in real-world conditions, even in animals with severe infestations.
