PETMEDICA® AT THE 2026 LEÓN VETERINARY CONGRESS
Posted on 14/09/2026
From September 2 to 5, 2026, the city of León, Guanajuato (Mexico), hosted the 2026 edition of the León Veterinary Congress (CVDL), an event firmly established as the largest veterinary gathering in Latin America. This international congress brought together over 25,500 attendees and offered more than 900 hours of simultaneous lectures across over 35 rooms dedicated to technical training and veterinary innovation.
Against this significant industry backdrop, Petmedica®—Agrovet Market®’s specialized companion animal product line—reaffirmed its regional leadership through an outstanding commercial presence. The brand welcomed over 50 clients from Central America, with notable delegations arriving from Costa Rica and Guatemala.
Petmedica®’s impressive two-story booth served as a hub where distributors, veterinarians, and clinic owners could explore and directly interact with the innovations in the company’s portfolio. The brand also strengthened its presence by officially sponsoring conference rooms, thereby fostering scientific development within the sector.
During the event, Petmedica® highlighted the advanced solutions in its renowned Atrevia® portfolio and introduced Surlan Quattro®, the latest major innovation developed for the brand's lineup. The congress also provided the platform to announce the Mexican market launch of Atrevia® Trio Cats, a new specialized product. This launch addresses a key market trend: according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), there are over 16.2 million domestic cats in Mexico, making feline health one of the fastest-growing segments with a high demand for specialized preventive and antiparasitic solutions. With Atrevia® Trio Cats, Petmedica® introduces an innovative alternative designed to meet the specific needs of the region's feline population. With this prominent participation in the León Veterinary Congress (CVDL) 2026, Petmedica® reaffirms its commitment to continuing to offer cutting-edge animal health products and supporting the growth of veterinary medicine in Latin America. The company extends its sincere gratitude to the CVDL 2026 organizers for creating high-level platforms that foster collaboration, innovation, and professional development in our region.
