Virbac participated in Peruvian Cats 2026, where it shared its comprehensive feline health solutions with the veterinary community and created a forum for professional development regarding feline nutrition.
Veterinarians and assistants had the opportunity to learn about the various solutions Virbac offers to support the prevention, diagnosis, and management of key feline health needs, drawing on a portfolio specialized in different areas of veterinary medicine.
Attendees also learned more about Veterinary HPM, an advanced nutrition line for carnivores, featuring foods formulated to meet the nutritional needs of dogs and cats. HPM advocates a nutritional approach based on the inherent characteristics of carnivores, as part of a holistic strategy for their health and well-being.
As part of its participation, Virbac hosted a talk titled "Carnivores by Nature: Keys to Feline Nutrition," led by veterinarian Cristhy Plasencia. She shared insights into the nutritional characteristics of cats and the key factors to consider for proper nutrition.
The presentation highlighted the importance of understanding cats as carnivores and considering their nutritional requirements across different life stages—aligning with the Virbac HPM nutritional philosophy, which focuses on the specific needs of carnivorous animals.
Virbac’s participation in Peruvian Cats 2026 provided an opportunity to strengthen ties with veterinary professionals, foster knowledge exchange, and introduce specialized solutions for the prevention, care, and well-being of feline patients.
Through its presence at Peruvian Cats 2026, Virbac reaffirms its commitment to the veterinary community and to generating the knowledge and solutions that contribute to increasingly comprehensive and specialized care for feline patients.
