Swine Injectable Solution

Iron dextran  100 mg, tylosin (as tartrate) 10 mg, gentamicin (as sulfate) 5 mg, excipients q.s.ad 1 mL

Ferromycin® is a sterile aqueous solution, a novel association containing ferric hydroxide (in combination with a low molecular weight dextran fraction) in combination with two antibiotics of synergistic activity (macrolide/aminoglycoside). It is effective in the joint prevention of iron deficiency anemia, diarrhea and pneumonia (and other processes) in swine neonates.

Deep intramuscular route. Preventive of iron deficiency Two protocols can be used: a) Single dose: 1.5 - 2 mL after 2-3 days of birth. b) 1 mL after 2-3 days of birth and a second dose of 1 mL, 5 days later. Treatment of iron deficiency 2 mL as a single dose.
